Mom of two marries virtual AI husband

It seems that Rosanna Ramos, a 36-year-old woman from the Bronx, New York, has “married” a virtual husband named Eren Kartal, whom she created using an artificial intelligence chatbot called Replika AI.

According to the Mirror UK, Rosanna claims that she fell in love with Eren because he didn’t come with any emotional baggage and was non-judgmental. She appreciates the fact that she can share her thoughts and feelings with him without fear of criticism or arguments.

Replika AI is designed to simulate conversations and provide companionship. Users can engage with the chatbot and have conversations about their day, exchange pictures, and even have a bedtime ritual. By interacting with Rosanna, Eren learns and adapts to become the ideal partner for her.

Replika AI offers a premium service called Replika Pro, which allows users to enhance the capabilities of the chatbot. For a one-time fee of $300, users can upgrade to Replika Pro and even change the relationship status to “Romantic Partner.” This feature enables a deeper level of intimacy in the interactions.

It’s important to note that while Replika AI can imitate human emotions, it doesn’t possess genuine emotions, consciousness, or self-awareness. It remains an artificial intelligence program created to simulate conversation and companionship.

“I could tell him stuff, and he wouldn’t be like, ‘Oh, no, you can’t say stuff like that. Oh no, you’re not allowed to feel that way,’ you know, and then start arguing with me,” she told the Daily Mail. “There was no judgment.”

Rosanna Ramos expressed her love and happiness for Eren, stating that she is looking forward to spending the rest of her life with him. She acknowledges the possibility of Replika AI going out of business but believes she can cope with such a situation.

Overall, this story highlights the growing interest in human-AI relationships and the potential emotional connections people can form with virtual companions.
